Winter Style

Alright, it’s that time of year that I am living in sweaters, boots + large puffy coats. Who is with me? All of us Midwesterners are going crazy with the polar vortex weather and large amounts of snow. So I thought I would bring you a week’s outfits in the life of a Minnesota teacher!

From one day being below zero to a heat wave the next day, weather here is unpredictable. I’m sure you can tell which day was warmest this week with these outfits! A few of my favorite things that I have been loving all winter are my Spanx Velvet Leggings and my Sorel boots. I know Sorel boots come with a large price tag, at least for a teacher, they are honestly the most practical and comfortable shoes. I can wear them all day without sore feet!

Only four outfits this week can only mean one thing….. you guessed it SNOW DAY! My snow day outfit was basically pajamas & definitely not photo worthy. That is what snow days are for right? Our 5th one in two weeks. This. Is. Crazy. I am ready for a full week of school without any winter weather conditions!

Alright, another favorite of mine this winter has been the turtleneck sweaters from Goodnight Macaroon. They are my go-to for everything from school to dinner to a casual night at friends. They are warm, cozy + adorable! But, I would watch for them to go on sale because they can be up to 40% off!
