New Year, New Shirts With Custom Ink!

It has only been a year since my last blog post….SO what better way to make a comeback than with something as exciting as classroom t-shirts! This year I teamed up with Custom Ink to provide shirts for 100+ students in our multiage grade level!

Let’s start out with the “Why” of classroom shirts! Last year we decided to take the plunge and order grade level shirts for all of our 3rd and 4th grade multiage students. Our students LOVED having the same shirts and all felt like they belonged in our community of learners! This year we wanted to expand our community to our 1st and 2nd-grade multiage friends. We are SO excited that we did it because now all of our students belong in an even larger community and are able to show leadership and learn from each other even more!

Now, all of this wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Custom Ink. I can honestly say that they were the easiest to work with to order shirts for 100+ students. The process to order online was so smooth. It is truly the perfect solution for all of us busy teachers to order shirts for anything! The Custom Ink Design Lab had a huge selection of art (ex. mascots, emoji’s and sport-specific designs) and fonts (ex. athletic-inspired, handwritten, retro styles) to choose from. You can also upload your own design too, which is what I did!

First, we came up with the words we wanted our students to focus on this year! The previous year during all of the “Wonder” craze we went with “Choose Kind”. This year we decided to broaden our shirts to include the words “Lead, Achieve, Succeed”. It was the PERFECT way to discuss what these words mean and how we want our students to embody these words each day in the classroom.

Next, I headed to the website to upload my design. I was able to work one-on-one with a product and design expert to ensure my design would be the best! They also helped me decide on the t-shirt style and fit that worked best for our classroom needs. Not only did I notice the soft material and high quality of the shirts, but I even had parents comment on the quality!

Finally, I made the last decisions with the color choices and the Custom Ink team gave me the okay on my design. The shirts were shipped out one week later and we were able to wear them at the beginning of the year! I love the look of the shirts, the comfort level, the variety of color choices and the quality!

If you are looking at ordering t-shirts for any K-12 group, Custom Ink is truly the way to go! We are SO happy with how our shirts turned out and as you can see above, my kiddos love wearing them to school! Every day it seems at least two of my students are matching in our class! 🙂 Head over to the Custom Ink website to get started on your own t-shirt designs! I promise you, you won’t regret it! 🙂
